The head coach of Russian national team on biathlon Alexander Kasperovich will be transferred to the position of senior coach of the national team reserve, but it will continue to impact on the first team. It is reported TASS with reference to own sources.

“Kasperovich have to go to the senior on reserve, however, not exclude that he will keep the impact on the first team”, – said the Agency one of the sources.

This specialist holds the post of head coach in 2015 and will leave on 31 may, at the expiration of his contract with the Russian biathlon Union (RBU). The leadership of the organization actually plans to abolish the post of head coach.

Coaches the men’s team Russia for the upcoming season in early April, the Board approved SBR Ricco gross and Andrey Padin. The main candidate for the post of coach of the women’s team is Slovenia Vladimir korolkevich.

At the world Championships this year in Hochfilzen the Russian team got one gold in the relay race for men and one bronze in the mixed relay, and in the last season for the first time in history won any medal.
