As reported on the website “Open Russia”, Semenov was found guilty in two administrative cases under article under article 20.29 of the administrative code (production and distribution of extremist materials). He was sentenced to a fine of 1,000 rubles for the repost 2014 and to the same penalty for repost 2013.
“Well then, the judge said that was just a slogan, but a place of Commission (of a crime), says, specified in the Protocol, and it is not there. In the end, a fine of 1,000 rubles. Well, we are going to fight, then let’s see,” – said in a Facebook lawyer Semenov Alexei Glukhov.
Previously, he notedthat the court dismissed the petition for appointment of examination, and also refused to call the FSB to clarify the dates of the monitoring of social networks, which was discovered in the contested repost.
In comments to Nezavisimaya Gazeta, the opposition called administrative proceeding against him politically motivated decision of the Chuvash authorities, and primitive tactics of law enforcement agencies and special services.
“Apparently, in the absence in the Republic of the real extremism, the police have decided to earn your salary and get a star, monitors the social network of political and civil society activists periodically and stamping of the administrative case. Initially, on November 9, I believed that all this is dictated by a single purpose – to prevent my trip to Helsinki to participate in the founding conference of the “Open Russia”. The publication reports that later administrative proceedings under 20.29 of the administrative code (“Production and dissemination of extremist materials”) was filed against the activist of the Parnassus in the Chuvash Republic Dmitry Pankov.
