Argentina and Uruguay are planning to submit a joint bid to host the world Cup in 2030. On it informs Agency Associated Press, citing statements of the presidents of the two countries.

It is reported that Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri and the leader of Uruguay tabaré vázquez on Monday in Buenos Aires held a formal meeting, which discussed the possibility of filing a single application to host the world Cup and found full understanding in this matter, has agreed to begin joint work on it.

Previously, two of the country only once hosted a world championship together. It happened in 2002, when honorable burden was shared by Japan and South Korea.

Note that in 2030 will mark the centenary of world Championships, the first of which was held in 1930 in Uruguay once. Argentina football festival came in 1978.

The next world Championships in 2018 will be held in Russia four years later the tournament would take place in Qatar.
