In a capital Central Board of the Ministry believe that it was arson to destroy the materials of some criminal cases.

“According to investigators, at night on may 19, unknown persons committed arson of the investigation Department at Trinity and Novomoskovsk district, located in the village Pipeline”, – quotes TASS senior assistant head of GSM TFR in Moscow Yulia Ivanova. She said that the fire destroyed the offices on the second floor, where, in particular, were criminal cases of the investigative Department.

Since the competence of investigators of the IC includes the investigation of a serious, especially serious or high-profile crimes, “the leadership of the Main investigation Department believes that the motive of the arson was the desire to destroy the materials of criminal cases and to avoid criminal responsibility”, said the representative office.

A criminal case under part 2 of article 167 (“Deliberate destruction of property by an arson”) of the criminal code. The place of the accident was visited by the head of the Moscow Central Board of the IC Alexander Rymanow, there are the investigators and criminologists, is appointed fire-technical examination, the Agency reports.
