The king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdel-Aziz al Saud accused Iran of working to destabilize the middle East region.

“We stress that the security and stability of the Gulf region and the Middle East is an urgent need to achieve stability and security in the world. This will require Iran’s non-interference in the internal Affairs of the region, refusal of action to destabilize the situation in the region,” said the Saudi monarch in the course of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin with the participation of delegations of the two countries, reports “Interfax”.

The talks were held on 5 October. In addition to Iran, the sides discussed the situation in the middle East: Syria, Iraq, the situation in the Persian Gulf, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Also, the parties entered into “a large-scale commercial contracts.”
