Eight-time Olympic champion in the women’s sprint Usain Bolt of Jamaica confirmed that he will retire after playing at the world Cup in athletics, which will be held in London from 5 to 13 August.

30-year-old Bolt is an eight-time Olympic champion and 11-time world champion. He is the only athlete who managed to win the 100m and 200m at three consecutive Olympic games: Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
