Canadian dance Duo Tessa Virtu – Scott moir broke the world record for points based on the results of two programs at the sixth stage of the Grand Prix of figure skating in Japan.

On Saturday Virtu and moir set a new world record in the short dance, receiving your rental 79,47 points.

For free dance Sunday Virtu and moir deserved 116,37 points and the sum of the two programs set a new world record – 195,84 points, surpassing the achievement of the Americans Meryl Davis and Charlie white (195,52) installed at the Olympic games-2014.

On the second stage in Sapporo were the French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron (186,66 points). Three was closed by the Italians Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte (180,42). Russians Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov (169,62) completed the tournament in fifth place.
