Clinton protested the decision of the FBI to resume its investigation of the correspondence before the presidential election
The candidate in US presidents from Democratic party Hillary Clinton criticized the decision of the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) to reopen the case of her working correspondence while working with the Secretary of state for a few days before the election.
“It’s really weird to say about something like that, giving so little information, immediately before the election. In fact, it is not just enough. This is unprecedented and it is of deep concern,” Clinton quoted by TASS.
According to Clinton, the voters “have a right to know all the facts.” She also pointed out that her competitor Donald trump “has already begun to lie about this”, trying to “confuse the American people.”
Previously, FBI Director James Comey announced that in the correspondence of Clinton, new materials, and now the bureaus have to perform additional array of its official letters, which she sent to their personal mailbox. As explained by the Minister, it is unclear how important the materials they contain and how long will it take the investigation.
According to the newspaper the New York Times, the investigation was reopened after the FBI discovered emails concerning assistant Clinton – Huma Abedin and her husband Anthony Weiner. What are the messages in question is not specified.
Vice President Joe Biden, in turn, urged the FBI to publish the letter, which was reopened the investigation into Clinton. Speaking of the FBI Director James Comey, who announced the resumption of the proceedings, Biden noted his honesty and candor, expressing confidence that the investigation will be fair.
Recall, we are talking about official correspondence, that Clinton led, using personal mail server, during the tenure of foreign Minister. Earlier, authorities had been referred almost 30 thousand of these letters, and former Secretary of state claimed to provide all work correspondence. On 5 July it was reported that the FBI, having studied the correspondence and the personal server Clinton, found no grounds for initiation of criminal proceedings against her.
