The Supreme court of the Crimea in April recognized “the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people” extremist organization and banned its activities in Russia. The initiator of the ban was made by the Prosecutor of the Republic Natalia Poklonskaya – she accused the leaders of the Majlis in organizing acts of sabotage to the energy blockade of the Crimea.
