The final match of the Cup in South American football has been postponed due to a plane crash, on Board of which were members of the Brazilian team, “Epicoene”, reported “Interfax” with reference to the Western media.

The game between “Epicoene” and the Colombian club “atlético Nacional” was held in the night of 1 December, Moscow time in the Colombian city of Medellin.

Moreover, the South American football Confederation (CONMEBOL) has suspended the carrying out all activities under its auspices in connection with the crash.

We will remind that on Tuesday morning in the mountains of Colombia, the plane crashed, on Board of which there were 81 people, including members of the club “Epicoene” and 22 journalists accompanying the delegation.

As reported by authorities, survived a plane crash five people, the rest died. Nine players “Epicoene” did not fly to Colombia.

The plane was heading to Medellin from Santa Cruz de La Sierra in Bolivia and crashed about 45 km from the airport of destination. According to one version, the crash happened due to bad weather conditions. According to others – because of lack of fuel.
