The people of new York before the performance of President Vladimir Putin at the UN General Assembly organized a protest in support of Russia on one of the most recognizable squares in the city – times square.

Judging by the photos published on the website of the TV channel RT, the action was attended by up to two dozen people. “Russian news service” reports that a poster in support of the President of Russia came largely Russian-speaking residents of the city, which was also supported by “Americans who share the view that in States dominated by anti-Russian propaganda”.

One of the posters protesters says: “Putin is not your enemy, your enemy is wall street”. There are also posters in support of China and BRICS and also the calls for “No war with Russia”.

Putin arrives in new York on September 28 is expected for the day. In addition to speech in the UN General Assembly, he is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama and a conversation with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
