At auction in Los Angeles (California) sold a dress of the famous Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe in which she congratulated U.S. President John F. Kennedy on the 45th anniversary by singing “Happy Birthday Mr. President”.
The outfit went under the hammer for 4.8 million dollars, reports the BBC. Auction on Thursday night held auction house Julien’s Auctions.

Embellished with sequins and rhinestone Nude dress, custom-made French designer Jean Louis was Monroe during her performance at the event to raise funds for the Democratic party of the United States may 19, 1962, 10 days before the birthday Kennedy.
