During his recent visit to the largest Oceanarium in the ENEA President Vladimir Putin received a question to which, apparently, was not ready. A child who has been together with the Russian leader in the exhibition of “Macquarie”, asked about the situation in Ukraine.

The boy approached the President and asked: “what is there in Ukraine?” Putin gave a terse reply: “Nothing.” The video was posted to YouTube by a user Lorne Malvo, hear the continuation phrase of the head of state. “I hope…”, – Putin said, the continuation of the phrase on which recording inaudible sounds.

Users started to actively discuss the video in the comments. One commenter suggested that the boy asked the question casually, and linked the incident with the “machinations of the state Department”. Another user noticed the clothes of the child, on seeing a suspicious resemblance to the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Question boy at the aquarium reminiscent of the meme “What do we Khokhlov?”, became popular in April 2015. Therefore, users derided the tendency of the Russian media and Russians themselves increasingly interested in the developments in the neighboring country than in our own. There was even a website created chtotamuhohlov.ru. In addition, the correspondent of “Open Russia” walked through the streets of the capital, trying to get an answer to the question haunting the Russians.

On the eve of Putin arrived at the Center of Oceanography and marine biology “Macquarium” at ENEA and got acquainted with the exposition. Then the President walked into the great hall of the aquarium, where visitors – most of the auditorium was occupied by the children expected. Putin greeted the children and some of them shook hands. In addition, the head of state during his visit he discussed with the mayor of capital Sergey Sobjanin work on the development and reconstruction of the territory of the Moscow Exhibition of achievements of national economy.

The size of Macquarium”, depending on the size of the pools, is 53 000 square meters and can accommodate up to 25 million liters of water. It is the world’s only year-round educational Oceanographic center, located hundreds of kilometers from the coast.

“Macquarium” opened on 5 August. Adult ticket in the largest Oceanarium will cost 600 rubles for the daytime session and 800 rubles for the evening, tickets for children – 400 and 500 rubles, respectively.
