The double Olympic champion in pole vaults Elena Isinbaeva has put forward as a candidate to head the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla). Election of the President of the Federation for the next Olympic cycle will take place otchetno-elective conference on December 9.
As reported TASS, Isinbaeva nominated by the athletics Federation of the Volgograd region (FLAVO). In addition, her nomination was proposed several regional federations.
