Finance Minister says premature Kadyrov concerns about the lack of subsidies in the budget of the Chechen Republic
Finance Minister Anton Siluanov has responded to the criticism of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who is angered by possible cuts in subsidies to Chechnya from the Federal budget. The financier said that Kadyrov is not currently know how much money in 2017 will be received in the Republic from the Federal budget.
“Kadyrov does not know what funds it will receive in the next year, because we have the volumes of interbudget transfers has not been distributed. Therefore, to say that he will get less or more, no reason no,” he said Siluanov RNS.
Earlier, Kadyrov criticized the Finance Ministry’s proposal to reduce the budget of the Chechen Republic to 2017: “the budget Model, which offers us the Federal center, it is unacceptable for the Chechen Republic. We are only now recovering. In the Republic, and so many problems. Chechnya is among the only two regions where there is transmeka in schools. In the Republic the construction of new schools and hospitals. The objects we have restored, but then begins the most difficult – to procure equipment and train specialists. We need to develop the main directions of the economy.”
Commenting on these words, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov stressed that the budget process should consider all aspects, not just the interests of individual regions.
On the eve Siluanov at a meeting of the state Duma Committee on budget and taxes on Wednesday criticized some regions that “are in deep, deep subsidization”, for non-core costs – for example, football clubs.
