Moscow football club “Dynamo” has apologized for the actions of their fans during Saturday’s away match of the 17th round of the championship FNL against the Voronezh “Fakel” (1:2).

Meeting in Voronezh in the second half was interrupted for 10 minutes due to crowd trouble. Fans of both teams pelted each other with plastic chairs. Riot police managed to restore order, isolating the sector fans of “Dynamo”. Police detained nine people.

“The atmosphere at the stadium was marred by the behaviour of a group of individuals who staged a fight, a mess and caused damage to the stadium. We apologize for the actions of our fans. Assure that the guilty will be punished in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. Every effort will be made to these in the stands of the stadiums are not repeated”, – said in a statement on the official website of “Dynamo”.

In addition, the blue and white has urged fans of the team for unity in the fight against the signs of bullying and aggression. The statement stressed that the only possible form of confrontation is an honest sporting spirit based on mutual respect.

It is expected that the episode in Voronezh will be considered at the meeting of the control and disciplinary Committee RFS on October 19.
