A former agent of the Federal office for the protection of the Constitution (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz, BfV – performs the functions of counter-intelligence), who previously starred in porn in a sex scene with men, was sentenced to one year imprisonment for attempting to divulge state secrets. 52-year-old man, from his own words, “boredom” was posing as a radical Islamist on the Internet, writes The Guardian.

In November last year, he was arrested on the case of spy-the Islamist who allegedly worked in the German secret services. In July, however, the former agent was released after prosecutors cleared him of almost all charges for lack of evidence that he planned the attacks or was associated with terrorist organizations.

During trial the man stated that the Internet was pretending to be a jihadist who planned the attacks out of boredom. “I never met with any Islamists. I would never have done. It was all just a game,” he explained in the court of Dusseldorf.

According to him, while working in BfV he is monitoring the activity of radical Islamists and found the whole thing “very funny.” However, on weekends when he was sitting at home with my disabled son, he got bored, and that this “Internet game” in the Islamist brightened his solitude. “It was an escape from reality,” said the man.

A former counterintelligence agent, was arrested after the undercover agent offered him to share information about special operations BfV.
