From convicted for the murder of Politkovskaya need to call the customer crimes of Berezovsky, said the lawyer hadzhikurbanova
From the former militiaman Sergey Hadzhikurbanov, convicted to 20 years in prison on the case concerning the murder of journalist Anna Politkovskaya, demanding to testify against the late businessman Boris Berezovsky, told “Mediazone” lawyer Andrew Vitanov, referring to his client Hadjikurbanov, which he visited on October 5 N5 penal colony in Mordovia.
According to these reports, in September some “employees”, not posing and not showing their identity, in an interview with a convicted required him to call Berezovsky ordered the killing of Politkovskaya. The lawyer suggests that hadzhikurbanova called for by the FSB. “I ask from Moscow evidence on Berezovsky, Khozh-Akhmed nukhaeva, Gaytukaeva. They ordered Berezovsky to kill Politkovskaya” – he gave the words of his client.
In 2005, prosecutors called Chechen businessman nukhaeva the customer of murder of journalist Paul Klebnikov, according to the publication. According to Vilanova, during the year, his client is being pressured to testify in the case about the murder of Khlebnikov, but in this case he did not put forward any specific requirements.
Recall that in early September, the now former official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin presented the book “The loudest crimes of the XXI century in Russia”, in which he wrote that the order for murder of Politkovskaya could come from Berezovsky from London.

A similar view was expressed at the same hadzhikurbanova another lawyer Alexei Mikhalchik, who also told reporters that his client “several times called Berezovsky’s name as a customer of” the murder of Politkovskaya.
The murder of Politkovskaya
The journalist “the New newspaper” Anna Politkovskaya was murdered on 7 October 2006 in her apartment building in Moscow. Charged with the crime the defendants were five persons: Lom-Ali gaitukayev, his nephews Rustam, Ibragim and Dzhabrail Makhmudov, and a former employee of the RUBOP Sergey Hajikurbanov.
According to investigators, gaitukayev was founded in 2006 organized group, which included other defendants and police officer Dmitry Pavlyuchenko, who headed the income statement of the Moscow police. Gaitukayev led the group until his arrest for organizing the attempted murder of Ukrainian businessman Gennady Korban. For this crime he was convicted and ended up in juvie. Further gaitukayev controlled the actions of the members of the group on the phone, being in places of imprisonment, established investigators.
According to the investigation, received from Pavlyuchenkova information about the place of residence of Politkovskaya, 7 October 2006 Makhmudov brothers began to follow the journalist. When Politkovskaya came to the house by car, Makhmudov informed about it his brother Gabriel, who conveyed the information to Rustam. Last entered the porch of the house where Politkovskaya lived and began to wait. When the journalist entered the Elevator, Makhmudov fired several shots at her. After that, the partners disappeared.
The Moscow city court on 14 December 2012 was sentenced Pavlyuchenkova to 11 years for the murder of Politkovskaya. He was found guilty in the organization of surveillance of a journalist. Case Pavlyuchenkova was considered in a special manner, because he made a deal with the investigation. In the end of the investigation he called the murder of Politkovskaya Berezovsky and Chechen separatist Akhmed Zakayev.
On the basis of the verdict of the jury, the Moscow city court ruled on 9 June 2014, the convictions of the other defendants in the resonant case. A native of Chechnya Lom-Ali gaitukayev who has been convicted of organizing the crime, was sentenced to life in prison. The same punishment was received by the native of Chechnya Rustam Makhmudov, who was found guilty in immediate execution of the murder.
The alleged middleman in the organization of crimes of Khadzhikurbanov, received 20 years in prison, and the brothers of the killer, watching Politkovskaya, – Ibragim and Jabrail Mahmudovich – sentenced to 12 and 14 years respectively. In June 2015, the Supreme court has reduced by six months the sentence of Jabrail Makhmudov.
