Former head coach of the London Tottenham and several other clubs in the English Premier League, Harry Redknapp knew his players were taking bets on matches of his team, reports The Telegraph</u>.

The newspaper conducted a special 10-month investigationaimed at finding evidence of bribery in English football. The journalists met with various football figures UK, presented by representatives of the Asian company that wants to invest in British football.

At one of these meetings, Redknapp said that he learned that his players put the victory of his team in one of the matches, which is a violation of the rules of the Football Association of England.

Previously, the newspaper was accused of corruption as head coach of the England Sam Allardyce. As a result, 27 of September the contract between the specialist and the Football Association of England was terminated by mutual consent of the parties.
