Employees of the Novosibirsk hydroelectric saved slider turtle, which is drawn into the hydraulic unit, reported a press-the Secretary of hydroelectric power station Olesya Tarasova on his page on Facebook on October 14.

According to her, workers of service of operation of the station – crane operator and mechanics for rigging and hoisting devices – when lifting trash lattice in the block of the hydraulic unit N7 in a switchboard compartment and saw that the water’s opening floats the turtle. They caught it with a net and brought to the shop, the website Sibnet.ru.

“She, poor, very cold, just the ice was”, – quotes the press-Secretary of Agency “NGS.News”.

Saved a turtle in a planted aquarium electrical laboratory, power station and immediately found her friend – she wanted to take the station officer, whose house is already the same animal. “So the American incredibly lucky with our Russian men”, – said Tarasov.

Pond slider turtles are found in the United States, South America, Spain, and South Africa, preferring shallow waters with low swampy shores. This animal was in the waters of the Ob river, on which stands the Novosibirsk hydroelectric power station, is anyone’s guess. Judging by the photos, it’s adult.
