For the post of chief coach of football club “Krasnodar” – appointed Russian expert Igor Shalimov.

As reports TASS with reference to the General Director of the “bulls” Vladimir Khashig, the contract of the new coach will last for three years.

“Igor Shalimov approved the post of chief coach of the team, the contract period is three years”, – said Khashig.

Shalimov was the acting head coach of “Krasnodar” after the resignation of Oleg Kononov, which occurred in mid-September.

In addition, the position of sports Director of the club from 1 October appointed Alexey Zinin. Previously, he worked in the capital clubs “Spartak” and “locomotive”.

After nine rounds of the championship on football “Krasnodar” has 15 points and is in sixth place in the standings of the Premier League, behind leader Spartak and Zenit on four points. The team also successfully acts in League of Europe of UEFA.
