Forward of St. Petersburg SKA Ilya Kovalchuk does not exclude that can return to the National hockey League (NHL) after the termination of the existing contract with CSKA, which expires at the end of April 2017. This is stated in an interview forward official website of the KHL.
“We’ll see. It can be. Why not? We will consider all options for a career, – said Kovalchuk, answering the question whether he had thoughts about returning to the NHL. Now I have a contract that I am obliged not just to work, and with my head held high”.
Recall that in 2013, Kovalchuk left the NHL, giving up the contract for $ 77 million. This transition is one of the biggest in the history of the difficult relations between the two leagues.
