In Belarus confirmed: Ukrainian air traffic controllers had threatened the crew of “Belavia” combat aircraft
Representatives of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus said that in the decoding of negotiations of crew of the aircraft “Belavia”, which the Ukrainian authorities 21 Oct force deployed, there are clear statements about the threat of use of combat aircraft from the Manager, reports “Interfax”.
The press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of Belarus Dmitry Mironchik said: “we Have a decoding of negotiations of crew of the plane “Belavia” flying flight Kiev – Minsk on 21 October, with the Ukrainian dispatcher. In this document there are clear statements about the threat of using military aircraft if the aircraft will not turn and will not come back to Kiev”.
“From this conversation it is clear that this is not an initiative Manager, and referred to a specific Department, which gave the team”, – said the diplomat. The Belarusian foreign Ministry has threatened in the absence of reaction of Kiev on the incident to publish the transcript of the conversation.
“Overall, we raised some surprise, the position of the Ukrainian side, the Ukrainian partners in respect of which Belarus has always maintained a good-neighborly and friendly,” he added.
We will remind that on October 21, Belavia reported: Boeing 737-800 performing flight B2-840 route Zhuliany (Kyiv) – the Minsk, was forced to return to airport of departure. On Board were 136 passengers and six crew members. According to the company, for 50 km to entering the airspace of Belarus to the aircraft commander received an order from the Ukrainian Manager on an immediate return to the departure airport without giving any reasons. After landing at the airport Zhulyany from the aircraft by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine was shot one passenger – the citizen of Armenia Armen Martirosyan. After refueling the plane took off to Minsk and landed safely in the Belarusian capital.
October 22, charge d’affaires of Ukraine to Belarus Valery dzhigun was summoned to the Belarusian foreign Ministry where he was handed a note of protest. “The Belarusian side expects an official apology and requires recovery of all financial costs and expenses caused by the actions of the Ukrainian side”, – said the Ministry.
Meanwhile, the security Service of Ukraine said that he threatened to raise to intercept a passenger airliner, fighter jets, denying thus the publication in the media.
