In China, after protests by Japan from the shopping center removed the statue of Abe with Hitler’s mustache
In China from a shopping center in Shenyang (Liaoning province) in the North-East of the country removed a wax figure of inclined to bow to the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, pictured with a moustache shape that was worn by the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Authorities took action after receiving a protest from the Japanese Consulate located in the city, reports Shanghaiist.
A wax figure of Abe appeared last week in the shopping center together with the statues of presidents of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama. While Putin was depicted standing upright with a stone face expression on the background of St. Basil’s Cathedral. Obama, by contrast, was smiling broadly and stood in the free pose in an unbuttoned jacket, his right hand in his Trouser pocket.
Behind the statue of Abe hung a poster of celebrated in China 85 anniversary of “the events of 18 September.” We are talking about the so-called Manchurian incident on 18 September 1931.
