The mass protests of animal rights activists against animal abuse will be held on the weekend in more than 80 cities of Russia, reports “Echo of Moscow”. In Moscow the rally will be held in Sokolniki, reports “Riama” with reference to head of the organization “Zoopreme” Anastasia Fedjunina.
The protesters plan to demand the tightening of article 245 of the Criminal code and the adoption of the law on the protection of animals and bringing to justice all perpetrators of animal cruelty.
Action under the slogan “No violence!” was in Moscow, Khabarovsk, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Penza, Tver, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Belgorod, Stavropol and other cities.
In Moscow, a rally of animal rights activists will be held on Saturday 5 November from 14:00 to 16:00 in Park “Sokolniki”.
