The Russian authorities are taking tough measures to solve the problems of the consequences of mass poisoning of drinking water in Makhachkala. At the moment already filed 11 administrative cases against officials and legal persons: Makhachkala-Vodokanal, GUP “Clean water” and others. “The investigative authorities within criminal case materials are passed. In no time the court will be sent the claim about the elimination of the perpetrator of a legal entity in accordance with the civil code of the Russian Federation”, – she assured.
Popov reminded that the CPS helps victims. “The assistance provided for damages and compensation of moral harm, and this work is continued”, – said the head of the Supervisory authority.
She added that to date the source of the outbreak of acute intestinal infection identified. “It is connected with contamination of drinking water. In the early days there was an excess of standards for the content of microorganisms in water up to eight times,” – said Popov.
In the meantime, in Mindslave of the Russian Federation told journalists that the hospital in Makhachkala after intestinal infection already checked out more than 200 people, reports RIA “Novosti”. “Now in hospitals of Makhachkala there are 228 people with signs of acute intestinal infections, of which 196 children discharged from the hospital 210 people, including 128 children,” – said the source Agency.
The health Ministry noted that people who are infected are receiving the necessary medical assistance, threats to their lives there. On behalf of the Minister of health Veronika Skvortsova in the region are infectious disease specialists and epidemiologists from the Federal centers.
