In Georgia there was an attempt on the ex-defense Minister Okruashvili: it opened fire in the town of Gori in the East.
As journalists were told by Okruashvili, “in a shooting wounded a bodyguard and an activist of the electoral headquarters, which is delivered in a city hospital burn.” Okruashvili was not injured. The politician said that “witnessing this incident were about 30 people – members of his meetings with voters,” reports the Telegraph.

According to local media, two men came to the meeting Okruashvili with voters, after a verbal dispute with him and his supporters, one of them pulled out a gun and opened fire in the direction of the former Minister.

October 8, 2016 in Georgia will be held the next parliamentary elections, which will elect 150 MPs: 77 according to party lists and 73 single-seat districts.
