In Tatarstan are going to present to the world project “IT is Halal” – software that blocks unwanted for Muslims of the content. The presentation will take place in the framework of the IX Kazan international economic summit “Russia – Islamic world Forum”, told “Business Online” the head of Agency of investment development of Tatarstan’s chief Executive taliya Minullina.

“Under Sharia law, according to the Quran, there are certain standards of human behavior: morality, ethics and so on. When we work at the computer, working every day, use the phone, use online resources, social networks constantly, no content filtering. That is all there is, you can freely available to watch,” explained the daughter of a former Deputy chief UFSB on Republic.

Minullina cited the experience of the UAE, where moderation of content is conducted at the state level. “Halal-IT is a software that allows you to filter the content of Internet resources. What is now in many countries is, for example, for children in Islamic countries have introduced these Halal-IT standards – software for content filtering for the entire population,” the official added.

According to Minullina, the software will be in demand not only among those who adhere to religious canons.

At the present time in Tatarstan there are IT companies that offer customers develop applications, websites and other products “in the framework of the Sharia.”

The international summit will be held in Kazan from 18 to 20 may. For participation in the event was 2017 employees from 50 countries. It is expected that the largest delegations come from the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Turkey, Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
