Ukraine has no plans to conduct missile tests in the Kerch Strait, said the Secretary of Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov. He underlined that Ukrainian army conducts missile tests “within all international obligations and treaties”.
“Hysteria Russia that Ukraine, violating international agreements unilaterally took the decision to carry out missile tests in the “sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation,” devoid of common sense,” – said in a statement turchinova published on the website of the NSDC.
He stressed that the sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation in the Black sea ends up in the middle of the Kerch Strait. The first – on 1 and 2 December from 09:00 to 19:00 GMT at all altitudes with the seizure of the airspace over the high seas in the area of responsibility of the Russian Federation (Simferopol regional center), the second is December 1, 2016 from 12:30 to 14:30 GMT and 2 December 2016 from 11:00 to 15:00 MSK also at all altitudes with the seizure of the airspace over the high seas in the zone of responsibility of Ukraine (Simferopol regional center), and also with the entry into the airspace over the territorial waters of the Russian Federation and with the maximum deepening at 12 km.
Moscow immediately demanded to cancel the decision on the firings. The Federal air transport Agency said that Kiev violates the requirements of annexes 11 and 15 to the Convention on international civil aviation and endangering the safety of international air traffic, which could lead to disasters similar to what happened with the Malaysian Boeing two years ago near Donetsk.
