In Kiev, the vandals poured red paint on the monument to Prince Vladimir, which is one of a symbol of the Ukrainian capital. Currently, law enforcement agencies are searching for the bullies. In fact the incident was already brought criminal case according to part 1 of article 296 UK of Ukraine (“Hooliganism”).

“The monument was doused with red paint, presumably from a glass container. A corresponding entry was made in the Magazine of the uniform account. The issue of qualifications,” – said the TV channel “112. Ukraine” the speaker of the Kiev police Oksana Blischik.

Meanwhile, journalists UNN reported that law enforcement authorities have opened criminal proceedings under article “Hooliganism”, which provides punishment from the penalty till five years of imprisonment.

Note that on 14 September on the website of the TV channel “112. Ukraine began a popular vote for the most outstanding historical figure. At this point Prince Vladimir took first place with a score of 35.8% of the vote. Next comes the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera, who scored 22.1 per cent. Voting takes place online, the results will be announced in mid-October.
