In Malta, crashed a light aircraft, which, as noted in the original message were officials from the European Union Agency for security of external borders (“FRONTEX”), according to Reuters. Later in “FRONTEX” has denied the information about the lease of the aircraft.
According to preliminary data, the crash killed five people.
As reported AIRLIVE, the plane crashed shortly after takeoff and burst into flames.
The Independent , citing witnesses, writes that after takeoff, the plane suddenly banked right and crashed into the ground. Some of the wreckage was on the runway, while the bulk of the fragments is on the road outside the airport. All flights today were delayed, passengers are asked to monitor the emergence of additional information.
