The former champion of Russia in classical chess Yuri Eliseev was killed in Moscow, fell from the balcony of his apartment on the 12th floor, according to TASS citing a source in law enforcement bodies of the capital. According to some, the young man was fond of extreme parkour.
According to the interlocutor of the Agency, the tragedy occurred on 26 November at 23:30 GMT in the house 16 case 1 on Pyatnitskoe highway. The circumstances of the incident are still mounted. The police confirmed the discovery at this location of the body of a young man, but did not disclose other details.
His friend Daniil Dubov, also a chess player, announced on his page in the social network that Elisha was “trying to climb out the window to the balcony on the twelfth floor, but failed”.
