In October 2016, at least four people in Moscow and Omsk region has suffered because of the attacks on racist grounds. In Omsk as a result of actions of neo-Nazis killed a native of Armenia. It is reported by information-analytical center “Sova”.

According to human rights activists, since the beginning of the year from racist violence, five people died, 47 were injured varying degrees of severity. In addition, three received death threats xenophobic.

In the center note that the racist attacks were recorded in 11 regions of the Russian Federation. Last month there were at least four manifestations of neo-Nazi vandalism in Kaliningrad and Rostov oblasts and Karelia Republic. Just this year, was recorded at least 30 ideologically motivated vandalism in 17 regions of the country.

The specialists reported that the public activity of the nationalists in October was low. The only criminal conviction for violence motivated by xenophobia in October was passed in Ramensky local resident for assaulting a native of Uzbekistan.

With the beginning of the year on the same charge was made at least 15 convictions in relation to 39 of the Russians in 12 regions of the country. The Federal list of extremist materials was updated four times Oct. In particular, it joined the videos of Nazi skinheads and Islamic militants in the Internet, say in the centre.
