As the newspaper notes, Korkino single-member district, which includes the Soviet district, was considered one of the most “competitive”: fought candidates from “United Russia” Anatoly Litovchenko and the leader spravedlivorossov in the southern Urals, Valery Hartung. In the end, was won by the representative of the ruling party – voted 7655. But the election Commission has estimated that the number of spoiled ballots is much more – 8568. According to the Federal law N67 “On basic guarantees of electoral rights”, this is grounds for cancellation of results of voting.
Note that the CEC cancelled the results of elections to the state Duma in nine polling stations in Adygea, Dagestan, Mordovia Republic in St. Petersburg, as well as in the Belgorod, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov regions. According to the CEC on September 21, law enforcement authorities opened 32 criminal cases on violations during election campaign.
