The Lenin district court of Perm has sentenced a resident of the Mahram Khalifaev caught in possession of drugs. The attacker was hiding more than a ton of heroin in a utility building.

The decision of the court Mahram khalifaev will spend behind bars for 14 years. To serve his sentence he will be in the correctional colony of strict regime, reports the official website of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.

The convict will also pay a fine of 250 thousand rubles.

It is established that khalifaev under the guise of implementing the activities in the farming and pet rented in Perm land with residential buildings. “In the hangar, where he kept sheep, he equipped a hiding place in which was stored a large quantity of heroin, packaged and prepared for distribution,” reads a press release.

In January 2016, the suspect was arrested by law enforcement officials.

“During the search at the farm was discovered and seized 452 convolution of the drug in the form of balls weighing more than 123 pounds,” said the Prosecutor’s office.

Khalifaev was found guilty under part 3 of article 30, part 5 of article 228.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Attempt at illegal sale of narcotics in especially large size”).
