In Petrozavodsk on Wednesday began the work of the Finno-Ugric theological conference, which will discuss the issues of interfaith cooperation, both on a local and international level.
According to the website of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia, the program of the conference will be held round table with participation of representatives of the Russian Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Evangelical Lutheran churches.
Theological conference, which will end on August 21, is a meeting of representatives of the Lutheran churches of Hungary, Russia, Romania, Finland and Estonia. The conference is held every 4 years by turn in the participating countries. In 2016 the conference will be held in Russia. The host party is the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria, according to “Blagovest-info”.
