In Poland, after the earthquake blocked the miners in the mine. Different sources have reported 7-10 missing.

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake occurred at about 21:00 (23:00 Moscow time) Tuesday in the West of Poland. The collapse occurred on a copper ore mine in the town of Polkowice in lower Silesia province. The earthquake was located at a depth of about two kilometers, reports RIA “Novosti”.

State television TVP reported seven missing miners. Channel TVN24 with reference to the administration of the mine claims that the surface is not left 10 miners.

During the state of emergency in mine were 16 employees. According to Reuters, some of them left the mine, others have suffered with tremors, but was able to escape with the help of friends and rescuers.

The mine is owned by the company KGHM.
