The Ministry of education and science sent to the regions guidelines with explanations on the creation of preschool groups at universities. Opening of the IV Congress of workers of preschool education, head of Department Olga Vasilyeva recalled that the law “On education in RF” allows you to open pre-school groups in various educational institutions, including universities, reports TASS.

“Today we have regions in which opened preschools in universities, the experience is already being tested, and such universities today 27 in 14 regions. And, of course, this experience is positive, it is necessary to analyze, to look and continue,” – said Vasilyev.

According to her, on October 16, the accessibility of preschool education for children up to three years amounted to 74.6 per cent. “This is a positive development, and each issue is solved individually,” the Minister said.

For three years from the Federal budget for the project of modernization of preschool education was spent 130 billion rubles, regional financing amounted to 82.3 billion rubles, said Minister of education and science.

In Russia during this time was created 1,135 million new places in kindergartens for children from three to seven years. However, according to Vasilyeva, all in kindergartens for this age group remains in Ingushetia, Dagestan, the Crimea, North Ossetia, and TRANS-Baikal.

The Minister stressed that the experience of creating pre-school groups at universities taught in 14 regions of Russia. The press service of the Ministry of education and science Agency “Interfax” explained that the law “On education” allows you to create such groups at universities and “the Ministry sent to the regions guidelines with explanations” how to do it.

Earlier, on 13 September, labor Minister Maxim Topilin at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin spoke about the experience of the regions to support young families. In particular, he said, is the idea to open in the universities the room for the care of children to young mothers-students did not have to go to kindergarten. “This may require subsequent changes in legislation, if this experience goes well”, – said Topilin.
