The Lenin court of Samara has stopped production on administrative Affairs Ekaterina Gerasimova and Yegor Alasheyev organizers of the anti-corruption rally, “we won’t Dimon”, held on 26 March in the city Park named after Pushkin, the website “Open Russia” with reference to the correspondent from the courtroom.
Judge Roman Bulygin announced the decision today, may 16. According to him, the case was dismissed for absence of structure of a breach.
Lawyer Alasheyev Igor Kazarin said to”Interfax”, after the mayor of Samara has refused to coordinate action in the Park named after Pushkin, his client had approached the authorities with a request to provide another site, but there was no answer. “Thus, city hall banned the rally, which is contrary to the law”, – concluded the lawyer.
Gerasimov, coordinator of the Samara electoral headquarters of opposition activist Alexei Navalny, was acquitted for the same reasons. She was charged with two articles about the disobedience to lawful demands of police officers and participation in an unsanctioned rally.
According to Kazarin, after protests administrative protocols were made for 15 people, 12 of them were fined various amounts, three were sent to compulsory work. The case against another activist court had not yet considered.
11 may the two fined – Alexander Savin and David Hakobjanyan – justified Samara regional court, where they appealed. The court also ruled that “the organizer of the rally was actually banned a public event that is not consistent with the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Federal law “On rallies”, providing for the notification procedure for the organization and conduct of public events”. Therefore, the court refused to recognize the illegal rally.

On March 26 the anti-corruption rallies were held in many cities of Russia. In most cases, they were not agreed with the authorities. Police detained many activists, most of the detainees were in Moscow – 1030 man. In the future, some were appointed fines, others were put under administrative arrest for 10-15 days.
