Catholic Prelate was in Tbilisi together with the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church Mar Louis Sako and members of the Holy Synod of the Chaldean Catholic Church. They all arrived for the meeting with Pope Francis, where the Pontiff flew a two-day visit on September 30.
According to the representative of the Catholic Bishop of the Caucasus Giuseppe pasotto, Bishop of Zora arrived in Georgia with Pope Francis together with other bishops. “He took part in several events in Tbilisi. Because of health he was advised to go to Georgia, but he still decided, reports “Interfax”.

The Chaldean Catholic Church is one of the Eastern Catholic churches. Archbishop Hanna Zora was born in the village of Batina March 15, 1939, he was ordained priest on 10 June 1962, ordained Bishop of the Iranian diocese in the city of Ahwaz in 1974, left Iran in 1987 and was appointed head of the ecclesiastical mission in Canada in 1987.
