Doctors of three hospitals in the North East of England had to postpone the scheduled surgery in connection with a virus in a computer network connecting medical facilities in the region, reports RIA “Novosti”.

In the message of the governing NHS trust Northern Lincolnshire and the city goulue (Yorkshire) says: “In connection with the virus in the electronic system, discovered on Sunday, October 30, and after consultation with experts, we decided to disable most of our computer systems to be able to find and destroy the virus.”

This led to the fact that almost all the scheduled operations, appointments and diagnostic procedures Wednesday, November 2nd, will be cancelled.

In the normal mode will be most serious procedures and operations, including those associated with pregnancy and childbirth, and chemotherapy.

The plan will accept patients pediatricians.
