More than four hundred settlements de-energized in Ukraine because of a snowstorm, rain and wind, said the Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko. The most difficult situation in the West country: there are places dropped up to two feet of snow.
In the morning a press-service of the State service for emergency situations
reported that on Sunday night the electricity was off in 275 localities in six different areas. In the evening, according to the construction Department, due to actuation of protection systems power lines de-energized was 430 settlements in nine regions. In particular, in the Lviv region 90 is de-energized settlements in Chernivtsi – 83 in Ternopil – 82, in Khmelnytskyi – 76, in Ivano-Frankivsk – 37. Disabling will affect Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian and Volyn regions.

Administration of Ivano-Frankivsk region reported the temporary closure of the region’s schools and kindergartens. “The Commission made
the decision to suspend educational process from 14 to 15 November in preschool
educational establishments, schools, institutions of vocational
education, and to encourage colleges and universities to take
similar measures”, – stated in the message.
On disaster victims at the time of this writing, not reported. NEWSru.Ua reports that rescue services have freed a lot of cars, got into a skid or lost control in difficult conditions. Some of the trails were blocked with fallen trees.
Director of the Ukrainian hydrometeorological center Mykola Kulbida said channel 112.uathat by the evening of 14 November, the cyclone will leave the country.
