The court of Uzbekistan sentenced a man convicted in the slave trade. The attacker sent the workers on the construction of various facilities in Russia, and earned the money they are appropriated.

Fraudster-slaver was born in Kashkadarya region Abbos Gulomov. He’ll be behind bars for six years, reports “Interfax” with reference to the Prosecutor’s office of the Kashkadarya region.

As follows from the materials of the criminal case, Abbos Gulomov arranged the trip
seven compatriots in Russia, promising them high-paying
work. “However, after his arrival, he took their passports and forced to work
at construction sites of Moscow region, taking wages,”
according to a press release from the Prosecutor’s office.

Deceived migrants returning to their homeland, addressed with the statement
in law enforcement bodies. In the end Gulomov incriminated article 135 of the criminal code of Uzbekistan (“Trade
people”).

According to law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan in 2013
the Republic was registered 1392 victims of trafficking in persons (7.4%
compared with 2012), 1267 of them were taken out
country. Data for 2014 to date has not been made public.
