In Volgograd at the second attempt opened a criminal case over the desecration of the Russian flag staff of the municipal enterprise.

“Today, November 9, 2016, at the request of the Prosecutor’s office traktorozavodskogo district of Volgograd, a criminal case on the fact of abuse of the state flag”, – reported the Prosecutor’s office of the region.

The audit was launched after a resident of Volgograd took mobile phone video of employees of the management company, which was raking leaves in the flag of the Russian flag. However, on 4 November, the Day of national unity, in the internal Affairs of the Volgograd made a decision about refusal in excitation of criminal case. The city Prosecutor’s office cancelled this decision as illegal and returned the test materials to the police.

Says “Notepad-Volgograd”, the repressive measures were followed prior to completion of verification. Wipers, inappropriate seeking tricolor, were fined, and their immediate boss fired. The publication notes that the woman in charge of the area in Traktorozavodsky district, was quite close to retirement. Prior to this incident for it wasn’t registered any complaints. The head of the utility declared a severe reprimand.

Article 329 of the criminal code (“violation of the state emblem or national flag”) prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to one year.
