Guide Milan football club “inter” is going to offer Atletico Madrid € 50 million for the contract of head coach Diego Simeone, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

In the fall of 2016 Simeone agreed with the leadership of “Atletico” on the reduction of the term of the contract. The current labor agreement between the Argentine and the Madrid club until the summer of 2018.

According to the publication, inter want Simeone led the club after the season 2016/17, and is willing to pay Atletico compensation.

At the beginning of November the management of “inter” sacked Dutch coach Frank de Boer and has appointed in his place Stefano Pioli, former chief coach of “Lazio”. After 12 matches of the championship of Italy “inter” is in ninth place with 17 points.
