The head of the Russian Federation of rhythmic gymnastics (WPHG) Irina Viner-Usmanova believes that the development of rhythmic gymnastics in the sport should appear to men.

“To rhythmic gymnastics were moved, it is necessary to connect the boys. You know that in synchronous appeared, and in gymnastics, too, should appear necessarily. Because in Boxing, the bar, wrestling, football, a girl, so boys must appear in the gym. It is necessary to take boys from acrobatics, gymnastics” – quoted by Viner-Usmanov, the Agency “R-Sport”.

Previously about the imminent accession of gender equality in rhythmic gymnastics said the head of the technical Committee of the International gymnastics Federation (FIG) Natalia Kuzmina. On Monday at Novogorsk held the report-election conference of the WPHG, where Irina Viner-Usmanova was unanimously re-elected President of the Federation for another four-year term. Elections were held unopposed.
