38-year-old famous Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo has announced that he will retire at the end of the contract with “new York city”. The agreement of the world champion – 2006 American club expires at the end of December 2017.

“I realize that the time has come. Every day you are experiencing physical problems, you can’t train how you want, because you always have some kind of problem. At my age it is time to say – enough. I’ll do something else.

Back in Italy in December. I have a few ideas, but give me time to make the decision,” Pirlo is quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ex-football player of “Milan” and “Juventus” joined the “new York city” in the summer of 2015. Pirlo, whose assets 116 matches for the Italian national team, six times won Serie A twice and the Champions League.
