“Mom” Harry Potter got to the top of the ranking of the most influential authors of Hollywood 2016, The Hollywood Reporter, beating the “king of horror” Stephen king and specialist shades of grey by E. L. James.

The Hollywood Reporter, assessing the influence of the Scottish writer, took into account not only its participation in creating the “Fantastic beasts and their habitats” as a writer, but work on the television series “the Casual vacancy” and the series about the adventures Cormoran Strike. In the latter two cases, books, Rowling was published under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

The king, the most filmed in Hollywood, the author published seven acclaimed films and two television series are under production and another 27 writer’s works adapted for the screen. Most fans worried about the upcoming February premiere of “the Dark tower” with Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.

Third place went to James Patterson recently led the top paid writers Forbes. The Hollywood Reporter writes that he may also very prolific, writing more than a dozen genres of a writer who is increasingly attracting the attention of filmmakers.
