The winner of the contest “Eurovision” Ukrainian singer Jamala took part in the work on the soundtrack to the film “My grandmother Fanni Kaplan” directed by Alyona Demyanenko. The film includes the song “Promise” from the album “Podeh”.

As writes RIA “Novosti”, the film tells about a love story eserki Fanny Kaplan, which went down in history as the performer of the assassination attempt on Vladimir Lenin. The film is set against the backdrop of the revolutionary events in the Russian Empire.

“You’ll be back, promise me to play Chopin” – Jamal sings, engaging in a virtual dialogue with Russian singer Elena Vaenga and her song “Chopin” from album “White bird”.

The premiere will take place on 29 November 2016. In the Ukrainian film will be released on December 8th.
