Two first Deputy head of the presidential administration Sergei Kiriyenko and Alexey Gromov redistributed powers in the field of supervision of the media. Another source close to the presidential administration, told journalists that now the responsibility of Gromov are the Federal TV channels, news agencies, radio and print media. For Kiriyenko was assigned to the Internet, which, according to the publication, involves primarily the supervision of online publications, and social networks.

Held on the redistribution of powers between the two high-ranking officials of the Kremlin administration can be interpreted as the separation of supervision over the media on formal grounds, journalists said.

The newspaper reminds that in the administration of the President of the Gromov supervises the activities of the Kremlin’s Directorate for public relations and communications and management of press and information.

Sergey Kirienko, in turn, is responsible for the political unit: elections at all levels, interaction with political parties, public associations, youth policy. The official also under the jurisdiction of the Department of internal policy and management of public projects.
